Who We Are
The Feeding Texas network is the largest hunger-relief organization in Texas. Together with 21 member food banks, we reach over 4 million Texans annually with food and resources and engage the state in the fight against hunger.
What We Do
- We leverage statewide resources to mitigate and prevent hunger in Texas.
- We provide thought leadership by developing new partnerships, defining standards for our shared work, and examining critical questions about emerging solutions to hunger.
- We accelerate trajectories of our food banks towards shared goals by offering best practices, technical assistance, and targeted resources to help them build their capacity.
- We educate and persuade state and federal decision-makers to help them understand the root causes of hunger and strengthen its public policy solutions.
We lead a unified effort for a hunger-free Texas.
To ensure adequate nutritious food for all Texans, improve the health and financial stability of the communities we serve, and engage all stakeholders in advocating for hunger solutions.
