Collaborative for Fresh Produce

The Collaborative for Fresh Produce (CFP) works directly with growers to source fresh produce that would otherwise be rejected by retailers and often goes to waste.
CFP is one of seven Regional Produce Collaboratives (RPC) supported by Feeding America, the nation’s network of food banks.

Hunters for the Hungry

The Hunters for the Hungry program is made possible through our partnership with Texas Parks and Wildlife Department. The program distributes donated deer through local food banks to help feed families. Hunters can donate legally harvested deer to a participating meat processor, who will prepare the venison for distribution through local food banks.

Our Texas food banks then share the healthy, lean meat with families in their communities. Through this program, over 10 million servings of venison have been distributed to Texans across the state.

Texas Food Policy Roundtable

The Texas Food Policy Roundtable (TFPR) is a coalition of over 80 organizations, chaired by Feeding Texas, United Ways of Texas, and No Kid Hungry Texas, dedicated to developing and improving policies to address hunger and create a sustainable and accessible food system for all Texans.

Texas Health and Human Services Commission

Feeding Texas provides application assistance for programs like SNAP and Medicaid across the state to ensure Texans have the resources they need to live healthy, full lives.
